Filled To Overflow
Listen…
there’s a wind that doesn’t wait for permission.
A breath that doesn’t knock before it enters.
A Presence that steps into the room
the same way it steps into a man’s life—
suddenly,
completely,
and with an assignment.
The Comforter comes…
sent in the name of Jesus,
teaching what the world can’t teach,
reminding you of what your spirit already knows.
He doesn’t just whisper truth—
He anchors it.
He ties it to your ribs
so you can’t walk away from what God said.
And when hearts gather in unity,
when the room is one accord,
He moves.
Not politely.
Not softly.
But like heaven breaking open
and pouring itself into human lungs.
Tongues loosen.
Boldness rises.
And a man becomes more than a man—
he becomes a vessel carrying fire.
But the Spirit doesn’t stop at filling.
He transforms.
He reaches into the chest
and removes the stone you’ve been surviving with,
replacing it with a heart that can feel again,
beat again,
obey again.
A heart that responds to God
like it was designed to from the beginning.
And from that heart—
fruit grows.
Not the kind you pick,
but the kind that picks you.
Love that stands firm.
Joy that doesn’t need a reason.
Peace that silences storms.
Patience, gentleness, goodness, faith,
meekness, temperance—
evidence that the Spirit is not visiting…
He’s living.
And when you’re weak—
when your words fall apart
before they ever reach your mouth—
the Spirit steps in.
He takes your groan,
your ache,
your unspoken prayer,
and translates it into the perfect will of God.
He searches your heart
and speaks for you
when you can’t speak for yourself.
And the same Spirit who comforts,
who fills,
who intercedes,
also equips.
Different gifts.
Different operations.
Different administrations.
But one Spirit—
working all in all,
placing something in every person
for the good of the whole.
So hear the call:
don’t numb yourself with lesser things.
Don’t drown your purpose in temporary escapes.
Be filled—
continually, intentionally, fully—
with the Spirit of the living God.
Because when He fills you…
you don’t just breathe.
You become breath.
You don’t just live.
You carry life.
You don’t just walk.
You walk in power.
